Copyediting - Correction for word choice, sentence structure, and clarity in addition to proofreading. If you want to be sure you've really said what you think you've said, this is the service you want. - $30/hour
Developmental Editing - Stylistic editing and manuscript critique. Includes comments and suggestions on voice, tone, continuity, characterization, and plot. I will include both in-line comments and an overall critique. I do not proofread or copyedit as a standard part of this service, but you may add copyediting services to developmental editing at a reduced rate if you wish.

.doc file from hardcopy - With proof that you are the original author, I will use your provided manuscript or bound copy to reproduce your work as a Microsoft Word .doc file. I use voice recognition software to re-create your manuscript file, and the file will be returned to you at approximately the "galley proof" stage - where everything has been created and checked, but the original author should go over it to check for human error. This service is aimed primarily at authors with previously-published books who have had the rights revert to them and wish to submit an electronic file for publication. - $50/10,000 words
Convert to E-Book - I will convert your Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or .rtf file into a .mobi (Kindle) or .epub (Nook/iPad) e-book. Formatting-intensive manuscripts (usually those involving a great many tables or bulleted lists) are subject to a $25 one-time formatting upcharge. Please contact me for a quote - typically $15 for one format or $25 for both, but negotiable depending on length and pre-existing formatting
